Revolutionary technologies allow us to identify and prevent issues and treat them before they develop into more serious issues. Identifying these issues during the early stages is one of the most important things we can do for our patients.

The following technologies are available at the Concept Dentistry office:

  • Intra-oral Camera

    • An intra-oral camera is a very small pen-shaped wand that we can use to take pictures inside your mouth instantaneously. It lets you see what the dentist sees!

  • Odyssey Soft Tissue Diode Laser

    • At Concept Dentistry we make use of the latest laser technology available for soft tissue modification and preventive care. Our Diode Laser is calibrated specifically for soft tissue applications.

    The innate properties of a laser allow us to perform minor surgical procedures with less discomfort, faster healing, and fewer post-operative complications, including less chance of infection. Many soft tissue procedures around the gingiva can be completed without anesthesia for greater patient comfort.

    Some of the procedures that we can perform with the laser include: gum recontouring, comfortable treatment of canker sores and cold sores, and the exposure of slow erupting teeth.

  • DIAGNOdent

    The DIAGNOdent is laser caries detection aid that allows the dentist to find even the smallest areas of tooth decay. With this device we at Concept Dentistry are able to more accurately to find hidden decay in questionable stained grooves. The device’s ability to see into the pits and fissures of teeth enables us to treat sub-surface decay early and take care of your small problem before it turns into larger more invasive procedures.
